Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of label-check (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you are using it on behalf of an organisation, you accept these Terms for that organisation.

1. What the Service is

label-check is an informational pre-screening tool for export compliance. It flags potential banned substances, allergen labeling gaps and labeling-format issues against destination rulebases. It is not legal advice, not a certification, and not a substitute for accredited laboratory testing or the official requirements of any destination authority (e.g. EU, FDA, GCC/GSO).

2. No warranty of compliance

Rulebases are maintained on a best-effort basis and may be incomplete or out of date. You are solely responsible for verifying compliance before exporting. We disclaim liability for shipment rejections, losses or penalties arising from reliance on the Service, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

3. Accounts & acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, attempt to breach its security, scrape it at scale, or use it to violate any law. Free-tier usage limits apply as shown on the pricing page.

4. Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via our payment processors (Razorpay / Stripe). Taxes (incl. GST) are added where applicable. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Governing law is India.
