Privacy Policy

This policy explains what label-check collects and how we use it. We handle personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP) and, for EU users, the GDPR.

1. What we collect

Product specs you submit for analysis; an anonymous device identifier (cookie) used only to meter free-tier usage; your email if you join our update list or subscribe; and minimal billing data handled by our payment processors (we do not store card numbers).

2. How we use it

To run your compliance check, enforce usage limits, send product/rulebase updates you opted into, process payments, and improve the rulebase. We do not sell your data.

3. Submitted specs

We store a minimal record of each check (destination, product type, score) for analytics. Submitted spec text is processed to generate your report; we do not publish or share it.

4. Cookies

We use a single first-party functional cookie to count free checks. No third-party advertising cookies.

5. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing us. EU users have rights under the GDPR including objection and portability.
